TEAM
Our structural engineers and architects.
Every Spacial Services project is led by a licensed Professional Engineer or Architect, supported by a deep bench of designers and drafters. These are the people behind the stamp.

Daniel Hruby, AIA
Principal Architect
Daniel Hruby is Principal Architect at Spacial Services and leads the firm’s architectural practice. He has over three decades of experience in custom residential design and is licensed in California (#C31344) and Idaho (#AR-984983). He is a member of the American Institute of Architects. Dan founded Daniel Hruby Architects in 2007, focusing on new single-family homes, high-end lofts, and historic renovations from 1,800 to 6,000 square feet across San Francisco, Sonoma, Palo Alto, Los Altos, Oakland Hills, and San Diego County. He later co-founded VRchitects, which brought VR and AR into design and construction workflows and merged into Spacial. Earlier he was BIM Manager at Walker Warner Architects and spent six years as an ArchiCAD consultant with Graphisoft. At Spacial, he pairs hands-on design craft with a clear view of how AI is changing the profession.

Allen Ramirez, MS, PE
Senior Structural Engineer
Allen is a Professional Engineer licensed in 48 states, with more than thirteen years of structural engineering experience leading teams and delivering sealed calculation packages. He previously led a national structural engineering department at BASE4 and spent nearly eight years at R&S Tavares Associates in San Diego, rising to Director of Engineering with responsibility for gravity and lateral design, foundation and soil interaction analysis, and connection detailing. From 2017 to 2020, Allen served as an Expert Consultant to the California Board for Professional Engineers, developing and reviewing questions for the California Civil Seismic Principles exam. He holds an MS from USC and a BS from UC San Diego.

Ruihao Zhu, PE
Structural Engineer
Ruihao is a licensed California Professional Engineer (PE #C97771) on the structural engineering team at Spacial Services, where he delivers stamped, code-compliant structural engineering for residential projects. He spent four years as a Project Engineer at Salas O’Brien, a national firm, working across multiple states and code jurisdictions. His projects include 150-plus-unit multifamily communities, seismic retrofits of wood-frame buildings, and a 60,000-square-foot emergency operations center engineered to stay operational through a major earthquake. Ruihao holds an MS in Structural Engineering from UC Berkeley. He started on the construction side, catching conflicts between structural, mechanical, and electrical systems before they reached the field.

Joshua Carter
Structural Engineering Lead
Joshua Carter brings nearly two decades of structural engineering experience to Spacial Services, with a career rooted in California residential and custom home design and built projects from the Bay Area to San Diego. He spent over four years at Daedalus Structural Engineering as an Associate Engineer and Senior Structural Design Project Engineer, leading high-end custom residential projects designed by nationally acclaimed architects across California and the western US. Before that he served a decade as Senior Project Engineer at Sezen and Moon Structural Engineering, and began his career as an Estimator at Appian Engineering. At Spacial, Joshua leads structural engineering support for the AI and R&D team and manages client projects. Outside the office he is a husband and father of two, teaches Judo and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu as a black belt, and makes time for rock climbing and philosophy.

Zoltan Eordogh
Senior Architect
Zoltan is a licensed California architect with a Master of Architecture from the Budapest Institute of Technology and Economics. He has worked on custom single-family homes, ADUs, multifamily and mixed-use developments, educational facilities, and the adaptive reuse of historic buildings. At prominent Los Angeles firms he built deep experience in zoning and building code compliance, construction documentation, and permitting. He was also a member of VRchitects, Spacial’s predecessor company, where he first worked with Daniel Hruby in the early 2000s. Zoltan approaches designing a home as a privilege that carries real responsibility: architecture as a service to the client and the community.

Hanna Johns
